our default shipping method is USPS. if you require an alternate shipping method send us a message and we’re happy to accommodate.

bound is not responsible for damage to parcels that are incurred during the shipping process. we are also unable to track shipping in any more detail than the shipping provider has available after the shipping date.

caring for beaded jewelry

all beaded pieces from our shop are handmade with One-G thread and varying glass seed beads. while we are confident that our beaded pieces are durable and well-made, beads and thread are delicate! all beaded pieces are meant to be worn gently and stored intentionally. when not wearing, lay flat or hang (that is unless you like a little bend in the fringe. if so, storing in a cloth bag often leaves the fringe a little squiggly).

caring for metal jewelry

all metal pieces in our shop are handmade. metal does tarnish over time. it is best to have a cloth polishing rag to touch up brass, sterling silver, and gold jewelry throughout the life of the piece.

returns

bound is more than happy to fix a piece that was inherently flawed (i.e. before sending or within reason while wearing). unfortunately, we are not capable of replacing pieces that are broken or flawed due to rough or careless wear.

time frames for fulfillment and shipping

for collection items, those other than “made-to-order”, we are generally capable of fulfilling and sending within 2-5 days. for “made-to-order” items please allow 2-4 weeks for fulfillment (these items will include “made-to-order” in the item description). all jewelry at bound is completely handmade, from the ear wire to the beaded strands and parts. beading is very intense! we are lucky if we can complete a pair in 30 min and most of our pieces take 3-6 hours to complete.
